While at the top of this successful company, Kaplan
received the coveted Label of the
Year award from
Billboard magazine for two years in a row, earned a
Gold and Platinum Album award from the
Recording Industry Association of America, and was
named one of the top 40 entrepreneurs under 40 by Entrepreneur
Magazine.
His label's best selling hit album held
the #1 slot on the Billboard charts for a
record 104 weeks straight and remained on that chart for over 60 months.
Kaplan’s career began with McDonald's in management
where he ranked #1

Kaplan also was Director
of Store Operations with the 800 store, multi-billion
in sales global retailer of PCs, ComputerLand Corporation.
Kaplan has applied his business ingenuity to solve challenges in the
businesses of media, marketing
and technology. He has served as an adviser
and consultant to a variety of ground-breaking new media and Internet
projects such as the first Internet Music Software company Headspace and

Kaplan founded clickPLAY, a media technology company
